We just got done studying Vitamins and Minerals in Nurtrition class and a couple of the Vitamins do things I never knew, so I thought I would share! I am a major advocate of vitamins so I couldn't have been more interested in this topic anyway!
All the "B" vitamins are great for you but a couple in particular were interesting to me! Niacin, considered B3 has been proven to lower you LDL cholesterol.
Folate, helps you divide and replicate your red blood cells and it also prevents Spina bifida from occurring in fetuses.
Vitamin D might help prevent cancer, so keep tanning, eating your fatty fish and fortified milk and cereal.
